At the External Panel Advisory Committee (EPAC) Meeting on August 22 in Bodega Bay, the Avian Flu School program Principal Investigator (PI) Carol Cardona of the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine described the development and progression of the AFS program to the GL-CRSP EPAC committee. The slides, now available for download, provide a unique look into the Avian Flu School, a joint research and extension program targeting the multi-faceted response and strategy approaches to prevent outbreaks of Avian Influenza at the village, district, regional, and global level.
