The Jim Ellis Mentorship Program for graduate students RFP was released on October 30th, 2007. The Jim Ellis Mentorship Program offers grants that provide partial support of dissertation and thesis research in order to improve the overall quality of the student's project, to allow candidates to conduct research in specialized facilities or field settings away from the home campus, and to provide opportunities for greater diversity in collecting and creativity in analyzing data than would otherwise be possible. The deadline for the current Jim Ellis Mentorship Program RFP is March 14, 2008.
