GL-CRSP News Article - Health for Animal and Livelihood Improvement (HALI) Project launches a new Blog!

The GL-CRSP Health for Animals and Livelihood (HALI) Project is proud to launch a new blog.  The blog will feature up-to-date postings and announcements on project activities and events, and will feature news, commentary, and project photos and video to document the progression of HALI Project research and intervention activities.

The HALI Project is a collaborative US-Tanzania research and capacity-building program aimed at assessing the effects of zoonotic disease (diseases which can be passed between animals and people) and water management on health and livelihoods in the Ruaha ecosystem, Tanzania.  Project partners include the University of California, Davis, University of Vermont, Sokoine University of Agriculture, and the Wildlife Conservation Society, Tanzania.

Currently, the HALI team is busy preparing a program for World Rabies Day on September 28th, when a video, presentation, and forum on rabies awareness, education, and conservation will be launched in Makifu Village, near the Ruaha National Park and Wildlife Management Area.
