The GL-CRSP HALI (Health for Animals and Livelihood Improvement) project is addressing the importance of zoonotic diseases (those that can be transmitted from both wild and domestic animals to and from humans) via stakeholder-driven research and capacity building programs to assess the effects of zoonoses and water management on animal health, biodiversity, and livelihoods in the Ruaha ecosystem, Tanzania.
